We wanted to give you a quick update on life here at Carreducker and what we've been up to in the past 18 months and as the UK gradually comes out of lockdown.
BESPOKE HANDSEWN & MANUFACTURED
Please make an appointment to come in to discuss a bespoke commission either at our bespoke showroom in Shoreditch or at Gieves & Hawkes on Savile Row.
We offer a full bespoke wardrobe via our Bespoke Handsewn and Bespoke Manufactured services from sneakers and sandals to walking and winter boots.
If you're unable to travel, we also now offer a virtual measurement and fitting service with full Zoom support. You will be sent all of the materials that you need to take measurements including a detailed 'How to...' film and we will arrange a convenient time to walk you through the process via Zoom. The same approach is then taken with fittings with your footwear sent to you to try on and discuss any adjustments needed on-camera.

CLASSES & COURSES
Our evening shoemaking classes, 1:1 shoemaking courses and leathercraft classes are running as usual. If you're unable to join us here in London, you can now learn shoemaking with us remotely via our 6-Module Handsewn Shoe Making Film Series and Zoom support.

Originally launched with successful Kickstarter campaigns we do small production runs of new colours of Tor Boots and Barkan Desert Boots a few times a year; all our boots are made to order, unisex, repairable and made from natural veg. tanned leathers.
2022 DIGITAL INTERNATIONAL SHOEMAKERS CONFERENCE
The International Shoemakers Conference is the digital sister conference of the annual Independent Shoemakers Conference, bringing news of the local conference and much much more to a global shoemaking audience.
As a result of the global pandemic, we found ourselves organising a digital conference this spring instead of the annual face-to-face conference, which set us a new and exciting challenge. It came at a time when we all needed to make contact and brought over 230 delegates together from all over the world, for the first time, to talk about something that we are all passionate about, shoes and shoe making!
We curated a weekend-long conference of interviews, demonstrations and workshops by makers, designers, tanneries and organisations from Seoul, Italy, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, the USA and Canada....and we loved it so much that we'll be doing it as an annual event!
